Jes Harper, singer/songwriter from Belize, will be entertaining young and old alike

Sue Thoms, author of "Cesar Takes a Break" will be sharing her newly released picture book about a school pet Iguana who decides to take his own Spring Break in the empty school. He records his adventures and the new friends he meets in a journal. Hilarious, with eye-popping illustrations, this book is perfect for 4 to 8 year olds. Sue will discuss her new book and lead a journal writing exercise for participating children. No charge.

Richard Murphy, author of "Confessions of a Contractor" will make an appearance at Tree House Books. He will be signing copies of his new sexy novel about the combustible mix that results when you blend desire, jealousy, and home renovation.

Rubinkam, an inpressionist painter whose work is on display and for sale at Tree House will be demonstrating his process and answering questions regarding his work. 20% of all sales between now and Christmas will go towards the purchase of childrens books for the Center for Women in Transition.

Maryann Lesert, author of "Base Ten", a Great Lakes Book Award nominee, will be reading from her work and signing her book.

Join Patricia Lynn Reilly as she speaks about her book, "Words Made Flesh" and engages in an informal Q&A. Ms. Reilly will be available to sign her books.

Rhoda Janzen, Hope College Professor, will be reading from her first novel, "Mennonite in a Little Black Dress". Ms. Janzen will be signing copies of her book after the reading.

Howard Frank Mosher, author of "Walking to Gatlinburg", a Civil War novel, will be presenting an entertaining slide show entitled " Transforming History into Fiction: the Story of a Born Liar." The presentation will appeal to writing and literature students, Civil War enthusiasts, and all types of book clubs.

Adam Schuitema, author of "Freshwater Boys", a poignant collection of stories about men and boys struggling with their conceptions of manhood, will be reading from his work and signing books.

Allie Larkin, author of "Stay", a funny story about love, loss, and dog ownership(Publishers Weekly), will be reading from her work and signing books.
